Welcome to NOW, a platform that brings together people with the same interests and hobbies, to create real-life experiences (“Platform”). NOW is owned and operated by NOW Hangouts Ltd. (“NOW Hangouts”, or “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) specify the ways you may and may not use the Platform. When you register to the Platform and use it, you agree to use the Platform according to these Terms. Please also pay attention to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

About the Platform

NOW is a social network for offline hangouts in the physical world. NOW allows people with similar interests and hobbies to interact through designated groups on the Platform, called Cliques. Clique members can create Hangouts, which are real-life events arranged to meet other clique members and friends. The Platform also allows you to view, save and create Lineups, which are lists of favorite spots and potential hangout locations, anywhere in the world. To use the Platform, you must create an account. When you create an account on the Platform, we will ask you for your phone number, your date of birth, your name, and your account username. You may also add your photos and your hometown. Once you are registered, you can create new Cliques and invite others to join. You can also ask to join existing Cliques, create and join Hangouts, create Lineups, and explore and save other users' Lineups. You may also choose to subscribe to NOW Plus to unlock additional features such as NOW Plus Hangouts, profile customization, and unlimited Lineups.

Your age, username, photos, and hometown will be publicly visible to other users when they view your profile. The Cliques (whether you created them yourself or joined them), your Lineups, and others' Lineups you saved as favorites will be publicly visible on your profile as well. However, other users will not be able to view your Cliques if they were set to ‘secret’, unless you invite them to join that Clique.

Summary of the Terms

• Creating an account. When you create an account on the Platform, you must provide true and accurate information. Otherwise, we may not be able to create your account and allow you to use the Platform.
• Using the Platform. You can use the Platform if your age is 13 or older. You may use the Platform only for your personal use, and only according to these terms and our Community Guidelines. You cannot allow others to use your user account.
• Your interactions with other users. We do take no part in your interactions with other users, and we are not responsible for how other users interact with you. Please be careful and think twice before sharing your personal information with other users.
• What you're allowed and not allowed to do on the Platform. You must use our Platform according to the acceptable use rules described in these Terms. You are not allowed to do anything that might harm our Platform's operation or our Platform's security. You may not copy our Platform or the content it includes, prevent other users from using the Platform, or use the Platform to do anything illegal.
• NOW Plus Subscription. You can purchase a monthly or a yearly subscription to NOW Plus. If you live in the European Union, you can cancel your subscription within 14 days through this form.
• Reporting inappropriate content. You'll find a "report abuse" button in each Clique, Hangout or Lineup. By clicking it, you can report to us inappropriate content that you believe shouldn’t be on our Platform. Examples are hate-speech, bullying or violence. You can also report inappropriate content by emailing us at [email protected]. Our staff members will review your report, without automated tools, and will update you whether we decided to keep or remove the content you reported.
• Removing your inappropriate content. If your content was reported as inappropriate by other users, and we believe that it is illegal or incompatible with the Terms, we may limit access to it or remove it completely. If we decide to do this, we will provide you with information about our decision.
• Your privacy. To understand how we collect and use your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
• Our intellectual property. We own, or legally use, the intellectual property rights (such as copyrights) in Platform. This includes the Platform’s design and graphics, the content that appears on it, and our marks and logos. You are not allowed to do anything that violates our intellectual property rights, such as copying the Platform or the content that appears on it.
• Your user content. You own all the rights in the content that you upload to the Platform (such as your photos). Please do not upload any content that you did not create yourself unless you have the approval of the person who created it. We display your content to other users (for example, displaying your Clique photo in a Clique).
